Getting to the Heart of the Tech
We built these overheat protection heaters for industrial machines that demand a lightning-fast response and precise temperature control. Our units run at 400V and crank out up to 2500W of power. That gives you serious heat, packed into a surprisingly small footprint. The 300mm tube length? We chose it specifically so it slides right into the most common heating zones. No need to redesign the whole machine just to make it fit. The result is a heat profile you can count on, and an output that stays steady, even when the machine is running non-stop.
The Design, Up Close
Inside, you’ll find a shortwave halogen element nestled in a quartz tube. A reflective coating directs all that energy forward, so you’re not wasting heat. And the overheat protection? It’s built right in. A thermal cut-out kicks in and shuts the element down before things can drift into a dangerous zone. We spec’d the R7s end-caps because they lock in tight and stay put, even when things are shaking and vibrating. It’s a true drop-in replacement, so you can just wire it up and get back to work.
Where It Shines: Real-World Results
Take PET blowing, for example. You need to heat the preform fast, but you absolutely can’t overheat the neck finish. The shortwave response hits that target temperature almost instantly. And that built-in protection prevents runaway heat that can scorch the material. The 400V, 2500W rating is powerful, sure. But that also means your control system and cooling need to be properly matched to handle it. What you’ll feel in your day-to-day? Warm-up times that are way shorter. Fewer unexpected stops. And the peace of mind that comes from knowing the thermal protection is perfectly matched to your machine’s rhythm.
